Application Process
- Submission of the Application: The Applicants shall submit complete filled in application within the time and date mentioned. SOIL shall not extend the submission date under any circumstance to any applicants. Incomplete applications shall not be considered for evaluation.
- Application fee: The Application fee of INR 2000 is non-refundable and has to be remitted in full for the application to be considered complete and qualified for evaluation.
Eligibility Criteria
- All applicants are required to appear for GMAT /CAT /XAT / NMAT (Any one).
- Only freshers and candidates with less than 5 years of work experience as on 30th June 2022 are ONLY eligible to apply.
- Applicants may submit multiple examination scores; SOIL will consider the best score provided by an applicant while shortlisting applications
- Candidates should have a full-time undergraduate degree completion certificate before 15th June 2022
- Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
- Graduation type: 3 years / 4 years or 5 years integrated program
- Stream: Arts/Commerce/Science/ Eng. (B. Tech / B.E) etc.
Validity of the Score:
- All GMAT scores after Jan 1, 2022
- CAT 2020 & 2021 takers
- XAT 2021 & 2022 takers
- NMAT 2021 & 2022 takers
- MAT Scores 2021 & 2022
Admissions & Interview process:
SOIL conducts a hands-on, activity-based session built around the Design Thinking process. The students will be taught about the process of design thinking and the ways to practice and implement the learning.
The students will then carry out the 5 key processes of design thinking namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test their solutions to a problem. The personal interview round will follow the design thinking workshop
Interviews with short-listed candidates will be conducted by a faculty member and a senior member of the industry. Interviews last about 45 minutes and you will be asked questions about your background and your aspirations, and how the MBA program fits with your plans.
POST-Admission
Background verification: SOIL conducts background verification checks of all candidates who have successfully enrolled in the program, to validate the information and documents provided by the candidate, academic scores and employment history through an independent agency.
The offer of admission is subject to a satisfactory verification of the information and confirmation from the Agency Any misrepresentation, suppression or omission of facts in the application shall justify denial, cancellation of admission or expulsion subject to the discretion of the Admission Committee of the School.
Candidates with any history of Criminal or other non-academic violation shall disclose the details voluntarily at the time of applying.
Original certificates and mark-sheets: Original certificates and mark-sheets (starting from class 10) are to be submitted for verification at the time of enrollment. Originals shall be returned once they have been verified. In case you do not possess or have lost any of the certificates, please apply for a duplicate immediately and obtain the same. Applicant shall not be allowed to enroll and shall be refused admission if the applicant fails to present the original documents on the day of enrollment.
Proof of identity & date of birth: Applicants shall be required to present a valid Aadhar card during the time of enrolment.
Laptop: On admission the candidates shall have to bring a compatible laptop with the specifications mandated at the time of enrollment. All softwares required during the programme will be uploaded into individual laptops by the SOIL IT Team. SOIL shall not be responsible for loss of any data already on the laptop.
Admission fee:
The Admission fee of INR. 1,00,000 has to be remitted within the date mentioned in the offer letter. The funds can be remitted via an online payment gateway as per the details provided by SOIL

This Fee structure may be changed any time at the discretion of the school.
Hostel accommodation:
The hostel facility will be available for students from June 15, 2022, to April 15, 2024. The Summer Internship Program for the students as per AICTE is from April 15-June 15 every year. During the period of internship, hostel facility will not be available for students. Due to the COVID effect this year the calendar will be slightly different but hostel costs have been included for 10 months
The Hostel contract is for both academic years (Year 1 & 2) and a duration of 20 months overall. The hostel is mandatory and highly recommended for all students since a large portion of student learning is to do with working on group projects outside of the classroom close to each other. If all students are in the same location in enables and foster collaboration and trust amongst each other.
Besides the Campus Hostel facility, hostel charges are also inclusive of the Himalayan outreach trip and discover India train journey.
Shuttle & travel services for outbound experiential programs to and from the campus including to NGO, Industry visits and other limited events are also included in the fees. For any new events or sessions, planned students would need to make their own arrangements.
Food
Lunch, Tea & Coffee is provided on campus on all days when students have classes. This is included in the fees. Food is also provided on special occasions and celebrations on campus
Global Immersion trip
We give an opportunity for all students to visit another country for a week and go on a study mission to discover its education, culture and commerce. This is an optional trip. Those students choosing not to go on this trip will have to confirm by 31st Jan 2022. Credit against the same will be adjusted in your last instalment. Minimum of 30 students are required to make this trip a success.
Students will have to live in shared facilities and costs for this trip will be capped at Rs 1 Lac per student.
Security Deposit
This will be refunded at the end of the program after all dues are cleared at the campus and hostel facility
Refunds Policy
- Refund policy as per AICTE norms- In case the vacated seat is not filled, the Institution should refund the Security Deposit and return the original documents.
- The Institution will not demand fee for the subsequent years from the students cancelling their admission at any point of time.
- Fee refund along with the return of Certificates should be completed within 7 days.
