The SOIL PGPM program focuses on a full-time, post graduation program providing a solid foundation in major business disciplines and core business skills. Business Specializations in Analytics, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources provide you a strong grounding in key management skills.

Leadership experiences in self-leadership, meditation, compassion, sustainability, mindfulness and ethics and experiential sessions through the Himalayan outreach trip and social innovation work provide many different dimensions to your leadership journey and growth.

  • This online registration is for admission to the one-year full-time PGPM 2025-26 program offered at SOIL Institute of Management, Gurgaon.
  • Candidates with a prior work experience of 2 or more years are eligible to apply.
  • Please fill in your total full-time work experience as on 30th April 2025. Part-time jobs & Internships do not qualify for full-time work experience.

The SOIL admissions process aims at identifying students with the right attitude that aligns with SOIL’s value system, and who have the ability and willingness to explore their leadership potential. Our unique selection process is crafted in such a manner that it helps us assess the holistic personality of a candidate. We focus on multiple intelligence and try to assess the attitude along with the competence levels of a student.

The following steps are mandatory for all candidates applying to the SOIL One Year MBA – PGPM program.

Step 1: Submit an Online Application

Our SOIL One Year MBA – PGPM application process requires you to fill in an online application form by your chosen application deadline. You will be required to provide the admissions committee with the following:

  • Details of academic background
  • An extensive account of your work experience
  • MBA Exam Scores / Opt for SOIL Entrance Test (SET) Score
  • Upload Document Proofs

Step 2: Appear for GEPI Process

The GEPI process evaluates candidates' leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through group exercises and personal interviews. This multi-phase assessment provides a comprehensive view of each applicant's capabilities and program fit.

  • Group Exercise: The group exercise challenges candidates to tackle real-world problems using Design Thinking principles and methodologies. This collaborative session allows applicants to:
    • Apply user-centric approaches to complex issues
    • Demonstrate empathy, ideation, and prototyping skills
    • Showcase their ability to iterate and refine solutions quickly
  • Personal Interview: Interviews with short-listed candidates will be conducted by a faculty member and a senior member of the industry. Interviews last about 45 minutes and you will be asked questions about your background, your aspirations, and how the PGPM program fits with your plans.

Step 3: Take SOIL Entrance Test (SET)

(If applicable)

The SOIL Entrance Test is a mandatory assessment for applicants who haven't submitted other recognized entrance exam scores (CAT, XAT, NMAT, etc.). While also open to those with existing scores looking to improve their admission chances, this test is crucial for completing the SOIL admissions process.

  • Duration of the test is 60 minutes.
  • The test is designed to assess aptitude without extensive preparation.
  • Test results are required to complete the admission process.
  • The exam can be taken before or after the GEPI process but must be completed for admission consideration.

The test will evaluate students in the following areas:

  • Aptitude Assessment
  • Data Interpretation
  • Verbal Ability
  • Critical Thinking

Step 4: Final Decision & Registration

Final decisions will be emailed to all candidates within four weeks of taking the interview. After your interview, there are three possible outcomes:

  • You are made an offer to join the program.
  • You are asked to appear for a personal interview for the second time.
  • You are not successful at securing a place this year.

Registration

Once you are made an offer to join the PGPM program, you will be required to secure your place by paying the first installment of the course fee – INR Two Lacs within 10 days of receiving the offer. The Admissions team will guide you through this process.
